Easy lifestyle family adventure. Activities and cultural experiences abound, travelling in a hot climate but with pool stops along the way. Highly accessible family overland with rough edges removed. Shop till you drop. Rating: Moderate. Crew: 2 Western crew, local guides as necessary. Vehicle: Classic Dragoman truck, camels. Accommodation: 30% camping, 70% hotels. Elegant merchants riad in Marrakech, converted kasbah hotels, small family run atmospheric hotels, french auberge and restaurant in Atlas, desert camping and campsites. If possible we try to find accommodation with pools.

Very easy family adventure, generally with good facilities. Excellent wildlife, loads of adventure activities to keep all ages happy. Good food, cultural interaction. Average paced trip but definitely action packed. Some down time (great shopping in Swakopmund). An excellent first timers journey. Rating: Easy. Crew: 3 crew, Western crew, African camp master. Easy journey with a couple of long day drives only. Loads of action for kids and adults. Wildcamping in the game parks is especially fun. Good mix of adventure with civilisation.
