West Africa and the Sahara, it doesn't get more adventurous than this. We will explore this seldom-visited region of Africa and do and see stuff that you will not quite believe. These are pretty comprehensive journeys to put you in touch with the local people. That is what West Africa is all about, people. There is wildlife but that's a bonus, here the interest is the music, the colour, the culture, the deserts and the vast rainforests. No tourist trail of campsites crosses this region, and you will see few other travellers. Life can be hot and tough at times, but it's worth every drop of sweat.
