It is possible to start/finish the trip in the UK approximately 10 days before/after the Tunis start/finish date. The itinerary transits through France & Italy, where we plan to visit Rome before taking the ferry to Tunis. The ferry routeing is subject to change due to local conditions and therefore the itinerary may vary. See refs LNE opposite or search for LNE on the website. A busy trip along good roads with pretty good facilities and easy lifestyle. Very cultural and inclusive. Fast pace but with time built in for R&R on beaches. Rating: Easy. Crew: 2 crew, local guides as necessary. Vehicle: Classic Dragoman truck. Accommodation: 75% camping, 25% hotels. Small hotels and pensions, good campsites with some atmospheric wildcamps.

Flexible itinerary which will vary, visiting Russia, Kazakhstan, Mongolia and China. High western culture (St. Petersburg) to staying with Mongolian horsemen. Range of temperatures from European Russia, Siberia and hot deserts of Central Asia. Road conditions can be poor. Crosses very remote regions.
