how to use this brochure
Once you've mulled it over, chosen a particular trip and departure date, it's time to check the availability. You can do this by calling our support staff or by looking online. step 1 - choose your destination.
You've got four continents and many fabulous routes to choose from. Which one suits your requirements? Check out the maps and the trip itineraries for a clear picture of the highlights. Don't forget you can travel in either direction.

step 2 - which trip style?
So think about how you want to do it: Escape, Discover, Encounter, Family or Ultimate? Read trip lifestyles and decide which one is suitable for you. Are you up for the full experience or a just taster? Get in touch if you're unsure.
step 3 - check out "Is this trip for me".
Each area has an overall description at the top of the page. Each trip has a profile, clearly defining the style and feel of the journey as well as an adventure rating either Easy, Moderate, Challenging or Extreme. Be realistic, climbing over the Andes is probably best avoided if you've just undergone a triple heart bypass.
step 4 - check out the itinerary & trip notes.
Full details of the itinerary can be found in the trip notes, downloadable from the website. Type in the trip code in the search engine. Check out the dates and prices to see availability. You can even reserve a place on a journey free of charge for one week on our website.
step 5 - work out the total cost.
To work out your trip total, add `trip price' and `kitty' together. Unfortunately our trucks don't fly (yet) and so you will need to check out the cost of flights. Don't forget though, there is a loads more activities included in our cost than in most other overland operators. Call Dragoman Overland if you live in the UK or one of our worldwide agents. Costs for optional extras and personal costs are given in our trip notes
step 6 - call and book.
