Kalkan & Islamlar, Turkey Kalkan is a harbour village set in the heart of the old Lycian region. It is relatively cosmopolitan, with wonderful restaurants and great places to stay. The Taurus Mountains home to the nearby rural escape of Islamlar provide a stunning backdrop, whilst the views across the bay are remarkable. Ka_, Turkey A little further along the coast from Kalkan lies this beautiful natural harbour town, framed by the dramatic Taurus Mountains. The winding cobbled streets, vibrant local shops and colourful market place all combine to provide a real Turkish flavour. The Gulf of Fethiye & Yediburunlar Coast, Turkey This region shows the diversity that makes the Lycian Coast so special. Dramatic mountains and beaches, cosmopolitan ports, rustic villages and the scattered islands of the gulf all combine to provide some of Turkeys most impressive coastal scenery. The Gulf of Göcek & Dalyan Delta, Turkey The bustling port of Göcek. The untouched rural mountain villages above Göcek with superb walking. The nature reserves, historic ruins and fabulous beaches of the Dalyan Delta. All provide a taste of the uniqueness of Turkey.
