ollow the curves and bends of the Danube as it flows through steep-sided valleys and wide riverside woods towards beautiful Vienna. Cycling along the riverbank, you will pass many delightful castles, ruins and abbeys whilst visiting historic places such as Linz, Melk and Krems. The final destination of Vienna is one of Europe's most beautiful cities, the perfect place to explore, enjoy some great food and perhaps take in a music concert. TRIP DETAILS Group: self-guided. his is a classic one week ride through the beautiful peaceful scenery that links these two historic cities. The route passes numerous rural villages and takes in the famous Danube Bend, one of the most picturesque sections of this famous river. The cities of Vienna and Budapest require little introduction, with a wealth of history, famous sites, entertainment and culture.
