Mt. Fuji
Cycle the land of the Samurai and teahouses, plus explore the incredible cities of Kyoto and Tokyo
apan is a contrast between ultra modern sophistication as exemplified by the city of Tokyo, and the natural splendour of its mountains that cover approximately eighty percent of one of the most forested countries in the world. We cycle down Japans highest mountain, Mt Fuji, and past lakes of deep blue in areas rich in natural beauty. Enjoy onsen (hot spring baths), sipping sake, while taking in the dramatic mountains and coastline of Japan using the highly efficient train system. Our itinerary finishes in Kyoto, one of the most splendid cities in Asia: here we enjoy the serenity of its countless temples and relax in its superb Zen gardens, with Geishas walking the streets. From Kyoto we make a daytrip to the Peace Memorial Park in Hiroshima.
