Jebel Sahro & the Draa Valley
Cycling through the Palmeries
Riding Moroccos exotic south, through the spectacular Draa Valley, the lunar landscape of the Jebel Sahro and the dunes of the Sub-Sahara
his is our least-demanding Moroccan off road trip and you dont have to be an expert biker to enjoy it. The landscape here is one of superb scenic contrast. We ride through the date palms and lush oases of the Draa Valley, the imposing volcanic gateway of BabnAli, the stunning Dades Gorge and even visit the edge of the Sahara with its impressive sand dunes. Well also witness a traditional way of life, passing isolated Berber settlements where nomads tend their herds of goats, and ride through numerous villages with mud-brick houses and ancient kasbahs. The riding itself is exciting, but not too long or technical, making this the ideal introduction to off road biking in Morocco.
