After an exciting trek or ride with camels at Rumuruti we visit the Rift Valley, in particular the beautiful but contrasting lakes of Nakuru and Baringo. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to an incredible number of birds and wildlife including the endangered rhino and elusive leopard plus, in season, a million flamingos. From here we head into Tanzania and the Serengeti - undoubtedly one of the best game parks in Africa - and Ngorongoro Crater. We then return to Kenya to visit the wildlife and dramatic landscapes of Tsavo and the elephants in Amboseli with an impressive backdrop of Kilimanjaro. The trip is brought to a very comfortable close with three relaxing days on the undeveloped spice island of Lamu. i The migration that occurs between Tanzania and Kenya throughout the year is undeniably one of the greatest wildlife spectacles on earth. Over a million wildebeest, three hundred thousand Thompson's gazelle and a quarter of a million zebra take part in this momentous circular journey for food and water. Depending on the season the migration can be found in either the Serengeti or Masai Mara.
