With a couple of days to relax in Aqaba and also on the Red Sea coast of Egypt, both offering fantastic swimming and snorkelling opportunities, this trip is ideal for all the family. The Itinerary Day 1 Fly to Amman; transfer to Madaba. 2 Morning free to relax; afternoon visit the Dead Sea with a chance to float; visit Mt Nebo and Madaba's wonderful mosaics. 3 To Petra via Kerak and Wadi el Hasa along the dramatic King's Highway. 4 Full day to explore Petra including two-hour guided tour. 5 Free day in Petra to relax at hotel or another visit to the site of Petra (optional). 6 To Wadi Rum to discover the desert way of life, including a 4WD excursion; overnight camp in the desert. 7/8 Continue to Aqaba; afternoon and following day free to snorkel or explore. 9 Take ferry to Nuweiba then short transfer to Dahab; afternoon free by the beach or at the hotel. 10/11 Two days to relax, swim or snorkel in the wonderful Red Sea; afternoon of day 11 transfer to St Catherine's. 12 Early morning optional climb of Mt Sinai; visit St Catherine's Monastery; transfer to Cairo. 13 A day to explore the Pyramids and the famous Archaeological Museum of Cairo. 14 Fly to London.
