Petra is indisputably one of the most amazing sites in the world. Hidden for centuries, it wasn't until a Swiss explorer 'discovered' it in 1812 that the 'Lost City' finally became known to the western world. Wadi Rum too is one of the most stunning desertscapes in the world and we spend a night camping out under the stars. A trip to Jordan would not be complete without a soak in the saline waters of the Dead Sea and a chance to swim or snorkel over the amazing coral of the Red Sea.

The Itinerary
Day 1 Fly to Amman; transfer to Madaba. 2 Drive to the Dead Sea and float in the salty water; explore Madaba's mosaics. 3 To Petra via the castle at Kerak along the dramatic King's Highway. 4 Full day to explore the incredible 'rose red city' of Petra. 5 To Wadi Rum including a 4WD excursion; overnight in the desert under the stars. 6 To Aqaba; free afternoon to snorkel, swim or relax. 7 Full day in Aqaba; free to relax. 8 Return to Amman; optional afternoon tour to Roman site at Jerash. 9 Fly to London.
