38 France Dordogne Family Adventure France Dordogne Family Adventure Group Trip 8 Days · Activities for all the family canoeing, cycling and walking · Explore one of France's most picturesque landscapes · Excellent riverside campsites with swimming pools T his popular corner of France is a superb location for an active family holiday. The junction of the Vezere and Dordogne Rivers hosts a excellent range of interests and activity, and on this itinerary there is the chance to try a little of everything. We take easy canoe trips down both the Vezere and Dordogne, cycle past pretty villages and along the riverside tracks, and explore stunning castles and a lively market town. During your free time there are optional activities including horse-riding and a visit to the Grand Roc caves. The canoeing is perfect for children, as the water is slow moving.
