During our easy trek from Lukla to Namche Bazaar we are surrounded by snow-capped Himalayan summits and incredible views of Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. Walking amongst the people and natural splendour of the world's highest mountain is a truly great adventure for all the family. Our experienced and fully trained trekking crew carry all the luggage plus tired children if needed! We also visit Chitwan National Park for canoe rides, jungle walks and there is the opportunity to join an elephant at bathtime.

Trip Profile
Flights via Muscat/Bahrain on Gulf Air. Accommodation 4 nights hotels, 3 nights safari lodge and 5 nights mountain lodges. Transport mini/midi bus, 2 internal flights, elephant and on foot. Group min 5, max 16, plus leader, driver and trekking crew. Food all breakfasts included plus full board in Chitwan. Reality Check 5 hour time difference; two drives of 5-6 hours duration. Two short days of walking and two longer days of 6 hours although smaller children can be carried. Min. Age 8 years.
The Itinerary
Day 1 Depart London. 2 Arrive Kathmandu. 3 Morning tour of the
great city temples; afternoon free to explore Kathmandu or relax at the hotel. 4 Spectacular flight to Lukla; walk through villages to Phakding. 5 Follow the river to Monzo. After lunch we trek through Jorsale and on to Namche Bazaar. 6 A full day to explore Namche, the Everest National Park Museum and Sherpa Culture Centre. Optional walk to Kyanjuma for stunning views of Everest. 7/8 Retrace our steps to Lukla via Independent Holidays
