Choose from 3 styles of family adventures
The key to our family holidays is flexibility and choice, and we have three different styles of trips for you. After all, families come in all shapes and sizes, so whether you're a single parent or a large extended family, we think you'll find a holiday that ticks all your boxes.
Group Trips
Going on a group trip is a fantastic way to meet new friends both for parents and children alike! Each of these holidays combines exploration with sociability, as you and your family visit a chosen region with a few other families. Group sizes are small to preserve the integrity of the more remote places we visit - and it's also more fun that way! · Minimum age 5, 6 or 8 years; specified on each itinerary · Maximum group size rarely exceeds 16 (approx 3-5 families) and is often much lower · An excellent way to meet other families · Often creates lasting friendships · All types of families and older family members are welcome · Families with older children can choose one of our recommended teenage departures (see page 6)
Independent Holidays
If you want to try one of our Group Tours with just your family, extended family or friends or on different dates to the scheduled group departures we can arrange this on certain trips. Just keep an eye out for the `Independent Holidays' boxes and these will display dates and prices where we are already holding space for you.
Our Staff
All our office staff have a passion for travel and adventure, and between us we've notched up experience that spans 165 different countries. That's not all. In their former lives, our team members have been professional archaeologists, wildlife guides, overland drivers, mountain leaders, diving and ski specialists and mountain bike gurus so no-one is better placed to create tours that appeal to a wide range of specialist interests. Their care in putting all the details in place really shines through too. Extensive planning, research, fact-finding and training are a sign of our commitment to providing a holiday where your enjoyment, value for money and safety come first. It's a telling reason why we remain one of the leading worldwide adventure tour companies. As well as being Exodus staff, many are parents, so they're well qualified to know what you and your children demand from a holiday. You'll find all our trips benefit from this inside information: each reflects how we like to travel with our own children involved.

Approximate package prices are shown on individual trip pages. If you book your flight through Exodus we provide airport transfers to the local start point
All Independent trips are subject to availability, as we do not have an unlimited supply of vehicles, accommodation or guides. It is therefore strongly recommended that you plan any Independent departure as early as possible.
Activity Centres
If flexibility tops your list of requirements or some of your children are very young, an activity centre is ideal. Try out a range of exciting, fun and educational activities from one base and you can decide how many you do and who in the family each is suitable for. · Most have a minimum age of 2-3 years; specified on each itinerary · Each activity carries its own age restrictions, as shown · Choose which activities you join in · No pressure to participate · An excellent way to meet other families · Children must be accompanied by at least 1 adult on every activity
