Responsible Tourism
We take extremely seriously our responsibility to minimise our impact on these pristine areas. Our ship operators are Full Members of the International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators (IAATO) and have agreed to abide by one of the tourism world's most conscientious codes of conduct. In our efforts to reduce greenhouse emissions and other pollutants, we're updating our fleet of Zodiacs, purchasing new engines to run on the cleaner four stroke and we choose to use a superior grade of fuel to run our ships it is more costly but considerably reduces our environmental impact. We have raised approaching half a million US dollars through staff and passengers towards the `Get the Albatross off the Hook' campaign, aimed at stopping the butchery of albatrosses by longline fishing. Join us as we make a positive contribution to the welfare of wildlife around the globe. Exodus offers an easy-to-use carbon offset service.
