OUR PHILOSOPHY
At Exodus, we know what makes us tick when it comes to holidays. It's a desire shared by so many others. A yearning to visit new places and come home with a real sense of what they're all about. This means delving into local traditions, cultures, cuisine, lifestyles anything that contributes to its unique identity. At the same time, we always remember that we are only guests. So we travel courteously and respectfully, in smaller groups to minimise our impact, to ensure that every Exodus holiday is a beneficial experience for everyone involved. This is a philosophy we take with us around the world, helping you reach some incredible destinations on more than 500 itineraries across 93 separate countries. We also strive to provide as much flexibility and choice as we possibly can, making it simple for you to experience a very different holiday.
RESPONSIBLE TOURISM
The Exodus commitment We are aware that any tourism will create an impact. Our guidelines are our commitment to ensuring that our impact is as positive as we can possibly make it in each of these three areas: Socially and culturally we aim to build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our hosts. Economically we ensure that our hosts receive a fair share of wealth generated by our visits. Environmentally we always strive to leave an area exactly as we found it. Our continued efforts are the reason we have received many awards and accolades for Responsible Tourism. However, we are constantly striving to do more. To help us achieve this, we always ask our guests to assess us at the end of their holiday. Over 99% of the many thousands who responded felt we acted responsibly. We are determined to reach 100%. Responsible Winter Activities Our selection of alternative winter activities seeks to make the most of the natural environment in its pristine state, rather than seeking to change it. Snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, dogsledding and ski-touring are best suited to more remote wilderness areas, where tourist development is low key and more sustainable. As such our holidays manage to avoid large ski resorts, where development has paid little attention to the natural environment and architectural traditions, and has blighted much of the Alps.

Quality and value We don't aim to be the most luxurious or the cheapest, but we do aim to give the best value. We don't cut corners and we pay our overseas partners a fair rate for their services. Satisfaction We rely very heavily on word of mouth and repeat custom for our bookings, so it is imperative that we give our clients the best holidays possible. We believe that over 30 years of operation and a more extensive programme than anyone else in our sector of the travel industry illustrates our success. Feedback At the end of every trip, we provide you with a questionnaire that we urge you to fill in. We rely on your feedback to maintain and improve the quality of our holidays. Accuracy We do our utmost to make sure that the information provided in this brochure is accurate. However, things can change due to circumstances beyond our control.
