PAYMENT DEPOSIT To secure a booking we require a nonrefundable deposit of 10% of the tour price or £50 per person whichever is greater. Where travel is within 60 days of booking full payment is required. TRAVEL INSURANCE If purchasing travel insurance from Explore, the full premium must be paid at the time of booking to ensure all cover (including cancellation cover) is valid. FINAL PAYMENT A final invoice will be sent to you approx 9 weeks before departure. Payment of the balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to departure. With your permission we can automatically debit your account on the due date. CHEQUE, DEBIT & CREDIT CARDS You can pay the deposit and full amount by cheque, credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Solo. A credit card fee is not payable for the deposit payment and insurance premium. However, a 1% fee is payable if your final balance (or the full amount) is paid by Credit/Charge Card. This fee does not apply if payment is made by Maestro/Solo or other debit cards. What we do with your personal information Explore Worldwide uses your personal information to provide you with any new features, tours, or special offers which we think may be of interest to you. We may also use your information for internal administration of a booking and for analysis. We may need to disclose your information to third party providers of flights and tour services. However, we respect our customers' privacy and do not sell, rent, trade or give away any of your personal information for any purpose. Data Protection Legislation ­ Explore Worldwide Ltd is registered on the UK Data Protection Register in the UK. BOOKING CHECK-LIST Travel Insurance ­ is mandatory for all customers on all Explore tours. Pre-existing Medical Conditions ­ must be declared to your insurers. Insurance documentation ­ all relevant information must be carried with you on tour. Passports ­ at least 6 months validity required. Visas ­ ensure you allow adequate time to obtain all visas & make sure there is enough space in your passport. Fitness & Ability ­ all customers must be fit and healthy and able enough to participate in all included elements of the tour. Names ­ most airlines now require full first and surname of passengers. These must be provided exactly as per passport, otherwise boarding may be denied. Booking conditions ­ you will be asked if you have read and understood the Booking Conditions and General Information (p50-51 & p38-45) when you book, and you are bound to do so. Although many people decide not to read the small print, you will find a lot of pertinent information included ­ thank you for taking the time to do this. DOCUMENTATION Confirmation ­ once your booking has been confirmed, a Holiday Confirmation Invoice will be sent to you along with additional tour information. Final Invoice ­ if your booking is made more than 9 weeks prior to departure, you will receive a separate Final Invoice detailing the outstanding balance. Travel Documents ­ Under normal circumstances detailed information for joining the tour, airline tickets and luggage labels should reach you no later than 1 to 2 weeks prior to departure.
