On this thrilling tour we head for the islands Caribbean beaches and central highlands, taking time to visit magnificent colonial towns and enjoy the beauty of the coastal scenery. On the way well learn about Cubas past and present, and... discover the salsa dancer within us! OLD HAVANA & THE CARIBBEAN Havana, the Cuban capital and a World Heritage site, boasts some of the most impressive architecture in the Americas. Well explore the vibrant colonial quarter, wander its narrow streets and have the opportunity to visit the Museum of the Revolution. Then we drive to the Zapata Peninsula, before visiting the infamous Bay of Pigs. We spend two nights on the Caribbean from where we can visit the laidback town of Trinidad  with its faded, painted houses and atmospheric streets. Exploring this wild area on foot, we can really enjoy the remoteness and highland views of this hidden corner of Cuba. Well swim in waterfalls and discover forest trails, hoping to catch a glimpse of tiny hummingbirds and perhaps the Tocororo  Cubas national bird. BEACHES & MOGOTES! Travelling across the mountains and down to the plains, we head for the Mausoleum ATLANTIC OCEAN Cayo Levisa Ferry White beaches of Ché Guevara at Santa Clara. We continue to Cayo Las Brujas, where sandy beaches give way to coral reefs and tropical fish, well away from high-rise tourist resorts further north. Heading west we stay near the lively small town of Viñales. From here we will venture into this intriguing region to discover the dramatic scenery of sheer limestone peaks (Mogotes) rising from the valley floor  either on foot or by bike. We take a ferry over to Cayo Levisa, blessed with beautiful sands, azure sea and offshore coral reefs before returning to Havana.
