KATHMANDU & NAGARKOT Old Kathmandu is a captivating mix of spice sellers and potters, rickshaws and sacred cows. Our sightseeing takes in both the well-known, such as the majestic temples of Durbar Square, and the fascinating and unusual; we travel by cycle rickshaw and discover the child-eating demon of Yitum Bahal! Delightful Nagarkot perches on a high ridge (2175m) at the rim of the Kathmandu Valley and is the perfect vantage point from which to watch the sunset over the snow-capped peaks of the Himalaya. Its also a great place to discover something of rural life; we take a walk through nearby villages and plan to pay a visit to the local school. experience. Back in charming Pokhara, on the shores of Lake Phewa and a popular chill-out place for trekkers; weve time to take a boat out on the lake, hire a bike or even eat a pizza  Nepali style! in store including a dugout canoe trip, jungle walks, elephant back safari and, provided its not too cold, joining the elephants for their daily bath!
