PAYMENT
DEPOSIT To secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 10% of the tour price or £50 per person whichever is greater. Where travel is within 60 days of booking full payment is required.
HOW TO
TRAVEL INSURANCE If purchasing travel insurance from Explore, the full premium must be paid at the time of booking to ensure all cover (including cancellation cover) is valid. FINAL PAYMENT A final invoice will be sent to you 9 weeks before departure. Payment of the balance is due no later than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to departure. With your permission we can automatically debit your account on the due date. CHEQUE, DEBIT & CREDIT CARDS You can pay the deposit and full amount by cheque, credit or debit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Maestro/Solo. A credit card fee is not payable for the deposit payment and insurance premium. However, a 1% fee is payable if your final balance (or the full amount) is paid by Credit/Charge Card. This fee does not apply if payment is made by Maestro/Solo or other debit cards.
Names most airlines now require full first and surname of passengers. These must be provided exactly as per passport, otherwise boarding may be denied. Booking conditions you will be asked if you have read and understood the Booking Conditions and General Information (p30-31 & p22-25) when you book, and you are bound to do so. Although many people decide not to read the small print, you will find a lot of pertinent information included thank you for taking the time to do this.

ABOUT OUR TOURS
GROUP SIZE All tours featured in this brochure are group tours with fixed departure dates. The maximum group size varies from tour to tour and can be anything from 16 to 20, depending on the type of tour and the transport and accommodation used and activities included. The actual number of customers who travel on any given departure date depends on the popularity of the tour. WHO TRAVELS ON THESE TOURS? Your travel companions could be from anywhere in the world, and could be from any background or walk of life. As we only offer English-speaking tours, a majority of them are likely to be from the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or the US. One thing is certain you will be travelling with some well-travelled, interesting and likeminded people who are bound to share your love for travel and desire to explore a different part of the world. AGE LIMITS The minimum age on all tours featured in this brochure is 14 years and persons under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or adult.The maximum age is usually 79, at the time of travel, unless travelling with a companion under the maximum age. ARE FLIGHTS INCLUDED? All the tours featured in this brochure include a scheduled flight from London to the destination and back. We have a limited number of seats on our group flights, so in certain circumstances a Flight Supplement is payable. For further information on this and for information on Fuel Surcharges and details of UK regional flights and upgrades please see the separate `About our Flights' p26-27. CAN WE BOOK OUR OWN FLIGHTS? `Land-Only' dates and prices for all our tours are available. These prices do not include flights from London and allow you to make your own way to the start point of the tour abroad to combine tours or
DOCUMENTATION
Confirmation once your booking has been confirmed, a Holiday Confirmation Invoice will be sent to you along with additional tour information. Final Invoice if your booking is made more than 9 weeks prior to departure, you will receive a separate Final Invoice detailing the outstanding balance. Travel documents Under normal circumstances detailed information for joining the tour, airline tickets and luggage labels should reach you no later than 1 to 2 weeks prior to departure.

BOOKING CHECK-LIST
Travel Insurance is mandatory for all customers on all Explore tours. Pre-existing Medical Conditions must be declared to your insurers. Insurance documentation all relevant information must be carried with you on tour. Passports at least 6 months validity required. Visas ensure you allow adequate time to obtain all visas & make sure there is enough space in your passport. Fitness & Ability all customers must be fit and healthy and able enough to participate in all included elements of the tour.
