A relaxed family tour through one of Africas friendliest countries. Accommodation is in rustic but comfortable tented camps and lodges, plus hotels and simple guesthouses. Most travelling days are relatively short. Watersports are optional, so you can be as active or relaxed as you want.

Explore beautiful Lake Malawi Make an African pot Visit a tea-estate Watch hippos, crocs and elephants From Lilongwe, youll visit the pottery town of Dedza where you can try your hand at making an African pot. Then stay on a tea estate (and see how tea is picked) before climbing to the cool of the lofty Zomba Plateau. Back in the lush lowlands, Mvuu Camp is great to watch hippos, crocs and elephant and learn about Liwondes wildlife. At Cape McLear you can relax on Lake Malawi's balmy shores and try various watersports: swim, snorkel, water-ski, windsurf or scuba dive.
