Is it right for your family?
This trip has been specially designed to appeal to children as well as adults, combining excitement with learning and fun. There are a couple of long driving days, but these can be great fun as we travel through extraordinary areas of the world. The minimum age for children is 7 years. There must be at least 1 adult to accompany 2 children. Although we camp for much of our journey to experience the real Africa, we stay in hotels with pools at the beginning and end of the trip.

Itinerary 1 Fly to Nairobi 2-6 Visit Giraffe Sanctuary. Drive to Lake Naivasha; visit Elsamere, home of the Adamson's of "Born Free" . Optional horse-riding. Visit Kariandusi School project. Continue to Lake Nakuru; flamingo watching and game viewing. 7-10 Cross border into Tanzania and drive via Lake Victoria to the Serengeti. Game drives and optional Balloon Safari. Explore Ngorongoro Crater. 11-14 To Arusha and then to Kipepeo Beach stilt cottages near Dar Es Salaam. 15-17 Take hydro-foil to Zanzibar and stay at hotel in the Stone Town. Relax, explore or take optional excursions such as snorkelling, seeing dolphins, scuba diving. Guided tour of spice plantations and lunch with Zanzibari family. 17 Return to Kipepeo beach near Dar Es Salaam. Fly to London 18 Arrive London

" Reverse itinerary Dar es Salaam to Nairobi * Shorter duration - 16 days An additional Kitty to cover National Park Entry Fees, Camping Fees and food of US$920 (approx. £484) per adult, US$820 (approx. £432) per child is payable on this trip. Kitty reduces to US$670 per adult, US$570 per child for Christmas departures. Insurance - £85 (adult), £42.50 (child under 18). Free for infants under two at time of departure.
