For a friendly base where you'll feel more like one of the family than a guest, this hotel is a great option. The owners, Stavros and Smaro, really go out of their way to make you feel at home. Then there's the setting to consider. Being on the seafront in Psalidi, just footsteps away from their own sand-and-shingle beach. And backed by mountains, too, first-class views are not in short supply. Just along the coast, there's the hustle and bustle of Kos Town. It's just a 30-minute walk away or hop in a taxi and be there in 10. Outside, the pool is the main attraction. Elsewhere, tennis courts, basketball hoops and a mini-golf course take care of daytime entertainment. In terms of food, there's locally-sourced produce and homemade Greek dishes, even an organic farm right behind the hotel that grows fruit and vegetables for the restaurant.
