Monte del Re
Firstly, thank you everyone for making Dozza such a great holiday. As a veteran of Lorne's holidays, I can say "with authority" that this was one of the best! The food, the place, the food, the wine, the food, the weather, the food, the hotel, the food - and of course, the people. Did I mention the food? Susanna's cooking was fabulous and I am already using the recipes.

Venue
The charming venue Monte del Re is a former monastery just outside the village of Dozza- only 40 minutes from Bologna. Complete with swimming pool and commanding views over the area it is the perfect place to relax and unwind. We are also delighted to have exclusive use of a private villa for our cookery lessons and meals. A perfect combination as the villa is just 1 km from Monte del Re and comes complete with a kitchen and an outdoor space, which is ideal for our hands-on cookery lessons.
