Capital of the Alsace region and an attractive and historic city. The old town, a warren of streets lined with timber houses, stands on an island in the river, its skyline dominated by the Gothic Cathedral. Hotel Davat
A remarkable little hotel, not only for its superb setting in a beautiful park just 200 metres from the lake but for its charm, gastronomy and friendly family atmosphere. The town is easily reached by using the free bus pass issued by the hotel. Meals can be taken either in the main restaurant or under the trees in the park. The 20 simply furnished rooms are in a three storey house in the park with telephone, satellite TV and bathroom. There is no lift. Continental breakfast.
