Le Touquet Paris-Plage is the leading resort on the Cote dOpale boasting a casino, racecourse, golf course and a huge sandy beach with a water park. Travel is by Eurostar to Calais and then by local train.
Located in the heart of Loire Chateaux country and a great base from which to visit all the major chateaux which are easily booked at the Tourist Office. Tours is a welcoming town with a vibrant small town atmosphere
A charming old town of cobbled streets and medieval houses, with a rich cultural heritage and noted for its wine and gastronomy. The huge 13th century fortress dominates the Loire and houses the worlds largest tapestry.
Frances sixth largest city and just a couple of hours from Paris. The city boasts an imposing gothic Cathedral and excellent Museum of Fine Arts whilst the Jardin des Plantes is well worth visiting. River cruises are also recommended.

A truly charming, comfortable three star, recently fully renovated yet faithfully preserving the original traditional features which made it a fashionable haunt in Le Touquets twenties heyday. It is located in a quiet yet central residential neighbourhood, near to the wonderful sandy beach, Casino, open-air market and other main attractions. Its Ascot bar is a popular spot for a relaxing drink. The 48 rooms are of a good size and are with bath or shower, wc, hairdryer, tv, telephone and minibar. Buffet breakfast. This modern hotel successfully combines old fashioned values with the latest facilities, including a pleasant lounge bar and an excellent restaurant. Just a few minutes walk from the old town of Tours, and upon request the hosts are happy to organise visits to local cellars for guided tours and tastings. All 57 air-conditioned rooms have bath, shower and WC, TV, telephone and hairdryer. Buffet breakfast is included. One child under 12 stays free if sharing with parents. Facing the Opera house in the very centre of Nantes and reached by way of an imposing vaulted entrance which is immediately trumped by the imposing foyer of the hotel. There is a bar and restaurant.
