One of the great shrines of Europe is celebrating the 150th anniversary of the apparition in the Grotto in Lourdes. During the year from 8th December 2007 daily events at noon and processions on Fridays and Saturdays will take place.

GraND HoteL De La Grotte
Splendidly located in the centre of Lourdes just at the foot of the castle and just 5 minutes from the Grotto. The hotel has belonged to the same family for four generations and is an exceptional hotel of charm, elegance and sheer quality. There is a bar, gourmet restaurant and brasserie and the 80 rooms are all you would expect of a 4 star hotel. Buffet breakfast. The hotel is open from 1st April until 31 October 2008. An enchanting family-run hotel perched about 500 metres from the village centre with outdoor swimming pool, garden, lounge and breakfast room. The 22 rooms have telephone, TV, minibar and are with bath or shower and hairdryer. Most rooms have either a balcony or a terrace. Continental breakfast. Hotel is open from 1 Apr to 1 Nov.
