Halifax
Halifax is just 6 hours from London, your arrival point and the regional transportation hub. In the heart of the pretty harbour city you'll find a bustling waterfront, a fascinating maritime museum with Titanic artefacts, galleries, shops, sidewalk cafés, and friendly nightclubs. Good restaurants abound and lobster is everywhere, even in the burgers!

Location: In the heart of downtown overlooking the harbour. Description: Warm colours and dark polished wood give this hotel pleasant and relaxing feel. Location: Downtown, near the harbour. Description: Historic boutique hotel in a trio of heritage townhouses, built in 1809, decorated with period furniture and restrained colours. Guests eat in the pretty private courtyard garden during the summer months, and in the library with log fire when it is cold. Accommodation: 29 individually appointed guest rooms and suites. Why we like it: Intimate and elegant.
