Radisson Hotel Kingston Harbourfront Location: In downtown Kingston, overlooking the harbour. Description: Lakefront hotel within walking distance to shops with good restaurant, indoor pool, fitness centre, hot tub and steam room. Accommodation: 126 rooms with 1 or 2 queen beds with views over the harbour. Why we like it: Good food in a good location. Gananoque Inn Location: On the banks of St Lawrence River in the spectacular 1,000 Islands. Description: Waterside hotel, converted from a 19th century carriage factory, with a wonderful facade and graceful lobby. Accommodation: The main Inn houses some nicely decorated rooms, dining room and bar. There are pleasant Waterfront units and 2 cottage suites. Why we like it: A feel of the old St Lawrence. Kingston Experience This package is an attractive addition to any Toronto stay; travel from Toronto to Kingston by train and enjoy a 2-night stay. Relax on a two hour lunch cruise complete with live music and entertainment, and take in the beautiful scenery of the historic waterfront. Then, take a trolley tour through the city and view such site as the Royal Military College and Queen's University. Your 2-night stay will be in a Mainland Cabin at Endaa-aang Eco Tourism Cabins and during your stay you will be able to take a nature tour guided by your Aborignal host who will tell you about the various uses of plants in both medicine and traditional cooking, experience their history as you retrace ancient canoe routes or learn an Ojibwe traditional craft.
