Montréal
Montréal is perhaps one of the most interesting North American cities infused as it is with French culture. It also has possibly the greatest variety of architecture as it ranges from the old town with its cobbled streets to the glass skyscrapers of the modern city. That variety is carried through its great museums, parks, underground city and of course the festivals. The Montréal Jazz festival is world renowned (June 26th to July 6th) and the Just for Laughs festival in July is a giggle a minute.
