Niagara
Niagara Falls hardly needs an introduction one of the natural wonders of the world, one of the places on the many lists of not to be missed before you die sights the list is as endless as the water flowing over the falls. What you need to know is that Niagara has hatched a vast number of attractions around the Falls and there is plenty to do there for 2 days. Whether you enjoy the hustle and bustle of the Marineland theme park, the butterfly farm or the excitement of a jet boat up the river or prefer the quieter Niagara on the Lake with the many vineyards producing some excellent wines including delicious Ice Wine, the Bernard Shaw Festival, you will find plenty to occupy yourselves.
Sheraton Fallsview
Location: Just 300 yards from the edge of Niagara Falls. Description: 4* hotel with the best views of the falls. Facilities include a restaurant with views over the falls, café, good sized indoor swimming pool, whirlpool and sauna. Accommodation: Pleasant, spacious and well-appointed rooms with 2 doubles or 1 king size bed Sheraton Sweet Sleeper beds. Why we like it: Sheraton quality with phenomenal views.
Great Wolf Lodge
Location: On the edge of Niagara, 5 minutes drive to the Falls. Description: A Disneyesque family resort hotel with talking wolves, a huge waterpark, games arcade, minigolf and fitness centre. 8 different eateries and best of all, for the adults, an Aveda Concept Spa. Accommodation: hotel rooms with 2 double beds and splendid family suites with bunk beds and extra space. Why we like it: a splendid antithesis to all the natural activities that you will be doing.
White Oaks Hotel
Location: Located just off the main highway, in the heart of the Niagara region, Description: This 4-diamond resort is minutes away from the Shaw Festival Theatres, the Welland Canal and other Niagara attractions. As well as 2 restaurants, it has a spa offering a vast range of treatments, and a well equipped health club, tennis and squash courts, indoor pool, sauna and steam rooms. Accommodation: 187 elegant and stylish rooms with 2 queen beds with white linens and cd players in every room. Why we like it: Something for everyone in a lovely area.
