FrontierCanada00-25 intros:FC_00-25_intros_v 4/1/08 15:10 Page 3 Getting there The starting point for your holiday is obviously your flight, and as with every aspect of your trip, there are several options to choose from. Scheduled and charter airlines fly to Canada and your choice will reflect your own personal preference and budget. As the prices vary from season to season, and change frequently and we want to ensure you are getting the very best price available, we are not including flight prices in the brochure check with us at the time of booking, so that you can get the best fare available at the time. Scheduled flights The scheduled airlines Air Canada and British Airways offer the best in comfort and flexibility. As well as their economy services, for that holiday of a lifetime, we can offer very good upgrade prices for those wanting a little more comfort using their business or first class services. Air Canada's new ExecutiveFirst class sleeper seat Charter flights Charter and low-cost carriers are considerably cheaper than their scheduled rivals with savings of up to £400 in the summer months. There are a number of different operators to choose from; Zoom, Air Transat, Thomas Cook, Globespan and My Travel all have regular flights from London Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow and some UK regional airports to the major Canadian cities. They also have very reasonably priced premium cabins. However, it does of course mean that your itinerary must fit around their schedules, rather than the other way round. You should also be aware that the flight times and even at times airports are subject to change, which are completely beyond our control. We can also reserve seats in advance but unlike the scheduled airline, there is a charge. We will help you choose the carrier and product that best fits in with your plans as well as ensuring you are getting the best price whatever level of service you are looking for. Air Canada flies daily non-stop from London Heathrow to most major cities, and has connecting flights to the rest. We can also organise connecting flights from all over the UK and Eire with their partner British Midland. British Airways has direct flights from Heathrow to Toronto, Montréal, Calgary and Vancouver. www.frontier-canada.co.uk F 03
