Fairbanks
Fairbanks was founded by miners consumed with the gold fever that swept Alaska at the turn of the century. Today it is more a centre for the tourist dollar with its myriad of activities within easy reach.
Arctic Circle Tour
A one day guided round trip journey by air and land across the Arctic Circle. Fly from Fairbanks to Coldfoot, north of the Arctic Circle. Seward & the Kenai Peninsula
Seward is nestled between Resurrection Bay and Anchorage, and from here you can take a fantastic marine wildlife/glacier tour around the Kenai Fjords National Park. The beautiful fjords, icebound and teeming with wildlife, are located on the south-eastern Kenai Peninsula, a pristine and rugged mountain land with isolated peaks rising for a mile above a dramatic coastline, and mantled by the 300-square mile Harding Icefield. Moose, bear, eagles, beluga whales and caribou all abound here.
