Vancouver Island is the size of England and like England has a great variety of scenery. You will see quite a lot of it on this 7-night tour which makes a great add-on to an Alaskan cruise. through Chemainus  known for its murals, Duncan  city of totems, Cathedral Grove where you must stop for a short walk amongst the towering first-growth Douglas Firs and across the mountains to Tofino, Day 1 Vancouver Arrive into Vancouver International airport and make your own way downtown. Spend the next 2 nights exploring this fantastic city; be sure to see Gastown, Stanley Park and Granville Island. Century Plaza/Pacific Palisades/Four Seasons Day 3 Vancouver to Victoria Collect your car in downtown Vancouver and drive south to Tsawwassen to catch Day 4 Victoria Take a 3-hour whale watching tour to see the orca and other marine life before lunch at one of the excellent restaurants around BRITISH COLUMBIA Kamloops Day 8 End of Tour Return to the east coast of Vancouver Island. From here (Nanaimo) you can take a ferry back to the mainland either returning to Vancouver or continuing your holiday to Whistler and beyond. the 95 minute ferry as it cruises through the Gulf Islands to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. From there is it a 30 minute drive in Victoria where you will spend the next 2 nights. On the way in, you could visit the world famous Butchart Gardens. Allow time to hike into Skookumchuck Narrows Provincial Park to see the tidal rapids (an easy walk). All meals are included here as is the Princess Louisa Inlet cruise. Westcoast Wilderness Lodge Day 8 Egmont To Lund Another ferry takes you to the northern Sunshine Coast and after a 90 minute drive you will arrive at the end of the road and a charming village called Lund where the next 2 nights will be in a charming b&b with 4 pretty rooms and delicious food. You will have time to hop on a water taxi to Savary Island or watch for whales, sea lions, porpoises and other marine life on a cruise into Desolation Sound. Lund Hotel/Sevilla Island Resort Cowichan Valley, discover the Butchart Gardens and the Royal British Columbia Museum and take a whale watching tour to see the killer whales that live off the coast.
