An impossible dream? Not with Canadian Mountain Holidays. You need no particular equipment, no huge degree of fitness, just a wish to be in the mountains. How can this happen? A helicopter will whisk you from a base near Lake Louise to a comfortable lodge high in the Rocky Mountains. Once there, you will be extraordinarily well cared for. Given the remoteness of your lodge, it is amazing the levels of service, good food, comfortable beds and massage that are available. Each day after breakfast, the helicopter will take you to a valley or ridge where you will hike/walk for a couple of hours. The heli will then return and take you to a different area where you will have a delicious picnic lunch before another hike. At the end of the day, the helicopter returns you to the lodge where afternoon tea and snacks await. A couple of hours when you can chat to new friends, have a massage, go for a swim in a local lake or have a well-deserved rest before an excellent dinner is served. The amount of hiking will be gauged around your fitness levels and wishes. If you are fit, you will be challenged; if you are not, the guides will go at your pace the choice is yours. Which lodge?
