With amazing beaches, walks through the rainforest, all sorts of wildlife including the migration of the Grey whales during March and April, the black bears, the Humpback whales in summer, the hot springs and in January and February the storm watching season. Other hotels featured on our website will include the boutique Cable Cove Inn in the village, the Pacific Sands, and Tauca Lea by the Sea in Ucluelet. Wickanninish Inn, Relais & Chateaux Location: A rocky promontory on the edge of the Pacific Rim National Park near Tofino. Description: This glorious place is built of cedar wood and natural stone; the Pointe restaurant has views which almost take your mind off the delicious Pacific West cuisine and the Ancient Cedars spa nestles into the forest fringe, adjacent to the wave dashed-rocks looking out to the open Pacific. This Aveda destination spa offers a fabulous range of treatments and beauty therapies. Accommodation: All the spacious and beautifully decorated rooms, have floor-to-ceiling picture windows and private balconies with the best views being from the 3rd floor rooms. King, queen, premier corner rooms and suites are all available. Why we like it: Sumptuous indulgence in a fantastic setting. Middle Beach Lodge Location: On 40 acres of secluded oceanfront, just outside Tofino. Description: Rustic and peaceful, with over a mile of private beach and headlands. Accommodation: The Beach section offers adult only accommodation in cosy rooms, some ocean-facing with balconies. The Headlands has oceanfront lodges, cabins, rooms and suites, some with balconies, lofts and kitchenettes, most overlooking the Pacific. NB: No televisions and the restaurant is sometimes closed in the evening. Why we like it: The natural materials used and a relaxed Westcoast atmosphere. Long Beach Lodge Location: On Cox Bay beach near Tofino. Description: The Lodge was designed and built to resemble a grand West Coast style home. The Great Room with its massive granite fireplace and Douglas Fir post and beam construction is a gathering place where you can sink into an overstuffed chair, put your feet up, and gaze out at the sandy beach with the crashing surf and lighthouse beyond. Accommodation: 40 Lodge rooms and 20 Rainforest 2-bedroom Cottages. We use the vast lodge rooms with ocean views and lovely bathrooms, bathrobes, cosy duvets, and waterproof rain jackets. Why we like it: Beautiful rooms. 34 To book call 020 8776 8709 F
