Marine Adventures British Columbia
Marine Wildlife Tours
We work with several excellent operators including Ocean Adventures and Bluewater Adventures. Bluewater have the Island Roamer and Island Odyssey. Both sail boats (although you will use the engine more than the sails) who range the waters of British Columbia and the Snowgoose a motor cruiser who explores the waters around South East Alaska. Ocean Adventures have a very comfortable Ocean cruiser, the Great Bear II, and they explore the northern coast of BC, the Queen Charlotte Islands as well as the immediate environs of Vancouver which means you can charter her for a day or two if you wish.
Ocean Adventures
Usually skippered by her owner this beautiful 54 foot Hatteras Long Range Cruiser offers unparalleled comfort and privacy as you experience B.C.'s most remote and spectacular settings at a very relaxed pace. Your overnight anchorage will normally be a peaceful bay which you will be sharing with just the bears and eagles. The fact that there are only 5 people to share the spacious layout and warmth of her wood interiors, the magnificent views from her salon, pilothouse and outside decks adds to the very special experience offered by Great Bear II. There is plenty of room for everyone to enjoy the views, cultural sites and wildlife sightings, not to speak of the delicious food. The ship has 2 private staterooms and 2 bathrooms; lots of comfortable seating on the spacious fore deck or covered aft deck; and a dining area with 360Ú views to the outside. From May to July Great Bear II will be on B.C.'s north coast for the 8 day trips: Magnificent Inlets of the Grizzly and then for Haida Gwaii, the Queen Charlotte Islands. She will then be in Vancouver available for charter by the day until the end of August when she returns to the north in search of the elusive Spirit Bear and humpback whales on a series of 7-day voyages plus a new itinerary Wolves of the Rainforest. Please ask for exact dates/rates or visit the website. Included: Everything you could ask for.
Blue Water Adventures
A series of voyages exploring the natural history of the British Columbia and the Alaskan pan handle throughout the summer. From a 5-day trip around the waters of the Gulf Islands National Park between Vancouver and Victoria to a 10 day voyage in the unique Queen Charlotte Islands; from sailing in the Great Bear Rainforest to the protected waters of Robson Bight off northern Vancouver Island, these holidays are a wonderful ways to explore otherwise inaccessible places. You will see some awe-inspiring scenery, experience North American Indian cultural site and plenty of wildlife from the comfort of your yacht. Both the sailboats have 8 double cabins and 3 shower rooms, and a comfortable salon with a natural history library. On deck, the large deckhouse provides a comfortable spot to watch for wildlife. The Snow Goose which sails in Alaskan waters is a 65' steel motor-vessel sleeping 12 passengers with 3 showers. Please ask for exact routes/dates/rates or visit the website. Included: Everything you could ask for.
