Deer Lodge
Location: Near the Lake, 10 minutes from the ski hill. Amenities: Renowned restaurant, bar and a stunning roof top hot tub. Ski shuttle. Accommodation: Newly renovated rooms; the compact Lodge rooms have 1 double or 2 single beds whilst the larger Heritage rooms have 2 double beds or 1 king; the Tower rooms have 1 queen bed. Some of the rooms have telephones. Frontier's view: Cosy, quiet property retaining much of its character from its tea house days in the 20's. NB: closed until December 7th. Baker Creek Chalets
Location: Between Banff and Lake Louise10 minutes from the ski area, in a secluded wooded setting. Amenities: The excellent Bistro restaurant and Mike's exercise room housing sauna, steam and massage room. Accommodation: Various types of chalets and suites, including 2-bedroom chalet, with 1 queen bed room and 1 twin room with kitchen and a small sitting room with fireplace, or the beautiful Heritage Trappers Cabin and the gorgeous Jacuzzi suites in the lodge. Lake Louise Inn
Location: In the village 5 minutes from the slopes. Amenities: Sauna, 2 hot tubs and indoor pool, plus a pizza/pasta café, restaurant and bar. Accommodation: 5 buildings comprising a variety of rooms including the Pinnacle Queen rooms with 2 queen beds, and the Bighorn Loft suites with sitting room with fireplace, sofa bed and kitchen, plus a small bedroom with single and bunk beds, a queen plus single bed and 2 bathrooms. Big Mountain adventure
