Day 2 Istanbul, Pamukkale (B) - Istanbul is one cool city! Take a walking tour, and listen to your leader tell interesting stories about Istanbul's incredible buildings and history. Try not to be scared as we head underground into the city's ancient water cisterns and return to the surface for a taste Pamukkale of sherbet from a traditionally-dressed seller. Watch fisherman catch fish in the Bosphorous before taking a short evening flight Sakilkent Dalyan to Pamukkale. Day 3 Pamukkale (B) - Time to check out Fethiye/ Pamukkale--you'll see the big, white cliffs from miles away! Oludeniz Find out a bit about the people who used to live here, and climb for a bird's eye view of everything. If you've still got energy, maybe you'll choose to go swimming in a pool with some ancient columns underneath you! Days 4-5 Kayakoy village, Saklikent Gorge, Oludeniz (2B,1L) - Start the day exploring a ghost town and find out why and when all the people left. Hungry? Try cooking a Turkish version of pancakes with a local villager and of course, eat your handiwork! In the afternoon, play on the beach and maybe practise your snorkelling skills. We then head to the Saklikent Gorge for a walk through the high-cliffed canyon. Be warned: sometimes the water is freezing! On the way home, stop at a traditional carpet maker to watch, then test how nimble your fingers are by trying a few knots of your own. Day 6 Dalyan, Oludeniz (B,L) - Today we are off on a boat trip on the Dalyan River. Check out ancient tombs halfway up the cliff face before sailing to a beach, where you can give yourself (and maybe your parents) a mud bath, before a well-deserved swim. Day 7 Fethiye Gulf, Oludeniz (B,L) - Grab your swimsuit for a day of fun in the waters of the Mediterranean. Cruise along the Fethiye Gulf, stopping for swimming or snorkelling from the boat. Enjoy a private picnic lunch of traditional food at a secluded beach. A short evening flight returns us to Istanbul where we have a chance for a final dinner together.
