Days 1-2/La Paz During your time in La Paz, youre free to wander the cobblestone streets and alleyways of this charming city. Stroll through the colourful markets or relax in one of the trendy cafés, explore historic museums or shop for authentic indigenous arts and crafts. On the evening of Day 2 well board an overnight bus to Potosi. Days 3-7/Potosi - Sucre - Santa Cruz Potosi, dominated by Cerro Rico Mountain, once contained the richest silver mine in the world. Here we have time to visit the Jesuit Tower, the main square and cathedral, and the museum of La Casa de la Moneda before taking a short drive to Sucre. During our two-night stay in Sucre, one of the prettiest towns in Bolivia, well take in the sights of the old city. Santa Cruz is where we spend our last days in Bolivia; considered one of the most important cities in the country, there is time to explore the main plaza, cathedral, colonial buildings and the zoological gardens. We then board an overnight train for the journey to the Brazilian frontier. Days 8-9/Pantanal Crossing the border into Brazil, we meet our Brazilian tour leader then head to the worlds largest freshwater wetlands, the Pantanal. This flooded landscape is teeming with some of the most concentrated wildlife in South America. Our guide will impart his knowledge of the region to us as we explore these vast wetlands. Days 10-11/Bonito - Dourados The town of Bonito is idyllically set amidst a landscape of forests, rivers and caves. Theres time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings or get involved in some of the real adventure activities on offer such as cave exploring or waterfall treks. We continue to Dourados for an overnight stay. Days 12-13/Iguazu Falls Spectacular Iguazu Falls are a true natural wonder of the world. Located on the border of Brazil and Argentina, the falls consist of almost three kilometres of churning white water made up of 275 separate falls this is nature at its most impressive! We spend time at these spectacular falls before heading to Curitiba. Day 14/Atlantic Rainforest The Serra Verde Express railway takes us on a spectacular journey through beautiful rainforests, rivers and mountain scenery, from

Curitiba to Paranagua. We disembark at Marumbi station and make the three-hour trek down the Itupava Colonial Trail to our lodge, located on the edge of the Atlantic Rainforest. Here we spend time relaxing and exploring the beautiful rainforest. Days 15-16/Paranagua - Honey Island We head into Morretes to discover the charm of this small historical town before descending to the coast at Paranagua. Here we board a boat, exploring some of the islands and wildlife that make up the Superagui National Park. Honey Island will be our home for two nights. This beautiful island is a great place to relax, swim, fish, party or just laze around on sensational sandy beaches. Days 17-20/Rio de Janeiro From Curitiba we board the night bus for Rio. There is no other city quite like Rio. The statue of Christ the Redeemer, the beaches of Copacabana and Ipanema, picture-perfect Sugarloaf Mountain and, of course, the vibrant music and samba dance are just some of the highlights youll enjoy in this exciting city.
