Acle Alpha Mustang moored at Thurne Mill. Acle A market town since the 13th century and boasting a parish church with a Saxon tower, Acle is the ideal start point for a varied and interesting cruising holiday. Set at the gateway to the renowned marshscapes of Haddiscoe and Halvergate, where windpump towers rise above the water meadows and where the Berney Arms pub is accessible only by water.
