Costa del Sol and Andalucia
The eight provinces of Andalucia stretch across the whole of southern Spain, from the Portuguese border on the Atlantic coast to Malaga and Almeria on the Mediterranean. From the snow capped peaks of the Sierra Nevada near Granada to the imperial, sun drenched majesty of Seville, from the sherry vineyards of Jerez to the hilltop white villages, from exclusive Marbella to the fantastic unspoiled beaches of Cadiz, Andalucia truly offers everything you could wish for in a holiday. Al-Andalus was the most important and longest lasting Moorish kingdom in Spain and its legacy is apparent all over the region, but noticeably in the wonderful cities of Cordoba, Granada and Seville. Together with Jerez, Cadiz and Ronda, these historic and beautiful cities are essential places to visit and all are within 2 4 hours drive of your villa. We offer a selection of villas and superior apartments in three distinct but equally delightful areas: Mijas, Marbella and Estepona on the Western Costa del Sol, Nerja and the whitewashed village of Frigiliana on the Eastern Costa del Sol, plus a selection of more rural properties in the beautiful countryside. Whatever type of holiday you are looking for in this wonderful region, beach or countryside, villa or apartment, resort or mountain retreat, you are sure to find it in Andalucia and the Costa del Sol. There are a few nightclubs in Nerja, but the atmosphere is low key and perfectly suited to couples and families looking for a relaxing holiday. Just 6 miles inland from Nerja lies the pretty pueblo blanco of Frigiliana, nestling in the hills with commanding views down to the coast. The heart of the village has barely changed for centuries and the steep, flowerfilled cobbled streets are enchanting. Many of our villas are in the hills around the village and offer seclusion, wonderful views and easy access to both Frigiliana and the beaches of Nerja. Some of the houses are reached by tracks, so may not be suitable for very nervous drivers.
Marbella, Estepona & Mijas
The centrepiece of the Costa del Sol, glitzy and fashionable Marbella is the playground of the rich and famous and nowhere more so than the stylish marina of Puerto Banus, with its superb shops, gourmet restaurants and trendy nightclubs. Further west, friendly Estepona and nearby Puerto Duquesa offer more restrained, less ostentatious excitement for a fraction of the price, but with equally high quality. Our superb luxury apartments in this area offer the comfort and amenities of a top class hotel with the freedom of a villa holiday, and are especially suitable for golfers to take advantage of the 50-odd courses in the area. The picture postcard white village of Mijas lies high up between Malaga and Marbella and just 15 min drive inland from the popular beach resort of Fuengirola. Here it is possible to combine the privacy and tranquillity of a villa holiday in the hills with all the amenities of a larger resort.
Nerja & Frigiliana
Some 50 km East of Malaga, Nerja is a wonderfully relaxing and family oriented resort, blessed with 7 beaches and a wonderful climate. The charming old town and its pine-fringed promenade Balcon de Europa are full of cafés, restaurants and interesting shops, whilst the main Burriana beach is popular at any time of year.
