Le Trosce is an old house in the middle of a 500 acre organic farming estate, a true paradise for wildlife and birds.
Here, white Chianina cattle are raised, wheat grown, and white truffles are found in the autumn months. On a spectacular hillside position, with panoramic views that seem to stretch forever, lies the old house. Restored and furnished in a simple, welcoming rustic style that recalls the history of the property, it is built in warm brick, from bricks that were once produced on the estate two centuries ago. All the accommodation is on one floor, but with different levels. A wonderfully secluded spot for relaxing, there is a small private dip pool surrounded by wooden decking, with magical views over the surrounding countryside. The estate is in the heart of Tuscany, close to many of the most important centres of art and tradition. It will be easy to spend a day in Siena, Pisa, Lucca, or Florence, not to mention the nearby towns of Volterra and San Gimignano. Ground floor: Living room.
