4 STAR HOTELS Danilovskaya -Intourist favourite Please refer to page 19 for further details. 3 STAR HOTELS Cosmos -Intourist favourite Located on one of Moscow's main boulevards, this hotel has been a firm favourite with Intourist clients for many years. It has in total 1777 rooms which make it one of the largest hotels in Moscow. Being a large hotel, it has numerous facilities to offer its guests such as 4 restaurants, fully equipped gym with swimming pool, casino, nightclub and bowling alley. The hotel is situated next to the All-Russia exhibition centre and is only 6 metro stops to the Kremlin from the metro station outside the hotel entrance. Holiday Inn Lesnaya Moscow Built in 2005, this hotel is ideally located in the business centre of Moscow close to Belorusskaya train station and offers first-class accommodation to businessmen and tourists alike. The 301 rooms all enjoy en-suite modern facilities. Hotel amenities include a restaurant, cocktail lounge and fitness centre. The hotel is a member of the Intercontinental Hotel group. Izmailovo Gamma Delta -Intourist favourite Built in 1980 for the Summer Olympic Games, the Gamma Delta is the sister hotel of Alfa and Vega hotel and is located in the same complex. Located in the famous Izmailovsky Park area in the north east of the city it is only 6 metro stops away from Red Square (metro station is outside the hotel entrance). Facilities at the hotel include 6 restaurants, 4 bars, casino and a fully equipped fitness centre. Due to its cost and good location, it has seen many Intourist clients stay over the years. Holiday Inn Sokolniki Moscow This newly built hotel opened in 2006. It has 25 floors and 523 rooms and is located very close to Sokolniki exhibition centre and Lokomotiv football stadium. The nearest metro station is only a couple of minutes away. Facilities at the hotel include 4 restaurants, 1 cafe bar and health/ fitness centre with sauna and indoor swimming pool, currency exchange bureau and gift shop. The hotel is a member of the Intercontinental Hotel group. Izmailovo Alfa With 1000 rooms, it is located in one of the best park areas of Moscow, Izmailovsky Park and is about 25 minutes driving to the Kremlin & historical centre of the city. There is a metro station outside the hotel entrance and only 6 metro stops to the Kremlin. Facilities at the hotel include 2 restaurants, 2 bars, casino, nightclub and sauna. This has been a favourite with Intourist clients for a number of years. Katerina City The hotel combines two interconnected buildings opened in 1998 and provides 119 rooms in total. The hotel is located on the south western bank of the Moskva River near to Paveletsky train station, 3km from Red Square. Hotel facilities include 2 bars, restaurant "Stockholm" serving Scandinavian, Russian and European cuisine and a small fitness centre. Marco Polo Presnja The hotel has a great location in a quiet corner of old Moscow within walking distance from Red Square and the Kremlin. It has only 72 rooms and facilities include 4 restaurants featuring Russian, European, Japanese and Armenian specialties, 2 bars and a full business centre. There is a health club and spa with swimming pool and spa treatments. Pekin hotel -Intourist favourite With a great location on Triumfalnaya Square, this hotel built in 1956 is only a few minutes away from Red Square and the Kremlin. It is quite small for a "Soviet" type hotel with only 190 rooms. It has a great restaurant, the "Pekin" which serves Chinese, Hong Kong and Malaysian food. An exchange bureau and bar complete the hotel facilities. Novotel Moscow Centre The Novotel Moscow centre is ideally located about 10 minutes drive north of the Kremlin, within easy reach of the airport and a metro station right at its door step. Modern and comfortable, the Novotel Moscow Centre has 255 rooms with the best of international facilities including the Cote D'Azur restaurant serving both local and Mediterranean cuisine, 2 bars, and a fitness and massage centre. The hotel is a member of the Accor Hotel Group. Sovetsky -Intourist favourite Built in 1952 and renovated in 2005, this hotel offers comfortable accommodation in 100 en-suite rooms. It is located in the north of the city in close vicinity of Moscow downtown premier shopping outlets, exhibition centres, museums and galleries. The restaurant "Yar" serves traditional Russian cuisine and also there is the "Green" bar to unwind after a long days sightseeing. There is also a small health club and beauty salon.
