the Wild Coast is a truly magical destination where waterfalls rush straight into the sea. Spend time trekking through ancient yellow wood forests or simply relax and get back to nature. Days 4-5 hogsback The calls of colourful parrots and louries form the soundtrack to hikes in Hogsbacks indigenous forests. Day 6 addo elephant National Park Once an elephant sanctuary, Addo Elephant National Park is now home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards and rhinos. Be careful where you tread here - this is also the exclusive domain of the fascinating flightless dung beetle. Days 7-9 Garden route With old growth forests, superb sandy beaches and a range of optional adrenalinepacked activities, the gorgeous Garden Route is sure to thrill. Visit Tsitsikamma National Park, picturesque Kynsna and the white beaches of Plettenberg Bay. Day 10 oudtshoorn See impressive stalagtites and stalagmites decorating caverns at the Cango Caves. Day 11 hermanus The heart of the whale route, seaside Hermanus offers the finest land-based whale watching in the world. Talk to the Whale Crier to find out more about these mysterious giants of the deep or zoom in with the telescopes along the Old Harbour. Days 12-13 cape town Discover Cape Town and travel to Cape Point to see the merging of the mighty Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
