South Africa is famous for, this peaceful river also forms the border to Namibia. Glide across its placid waters in a canoe and watch a sunset over the ancient Richtersveld Mountains. Day 4 Fish river canyon Travel past beautiful forests of quiver trees, lofty succulents that live to some 300 years of age, before arriving at the magnificent Fish River Canyon. Days 5-6 Sossusvlei Look for animals such as oryx and ostriches on the way to the Namib Desert. Spend a day climbing the worlds highest dunes and exploring the parched landscape of the Sossusvlei. Days 7-8 Swakopmund Experience the immense silence of the desert travelling across the moonscapes of Namib-Naukluft Park. Swakopmund has sandy beaches and scores of good restaurants and bars. Day 9 Spitzkoppe Be charmed by the antics of the Cape Cross seal colony before spending an evening in the shadow of Namibias most striking mountain, the Spitzkoppe. Venture into Bushman Paradise to see age-old cave paintings. Days 10-11 kaokoland Home of the proud Himba people, Kaokoland is an enchantingly remote region roamed by herds of desert elephants. Days 12-13 etosha National Park With the largest population of black rhinos on earth plus springboks, zebras, giraffes and more, the saline pan of Etosha is a bountiful place to take a game drive. Day 14 Windhoek Visit Namibias colonial-style capital.

Day 2 Ghanzi The oldest hunter-gatherer society known to man, the fascinating San bushmen have made the vast, inhospitable Ghanzi region their home for centuries. Learn how these remarkable people live. Days 3-5 okavango Delta Accompanied by local guides, explore the watery wilderness of Okavango Delta on foot and in a traditional dugout canoe. A seasonal habitat for a great many birds and animals including hippos, hyenas, antelopes and eagles, this is a perfect introduction to the African wilderness. Appreciate the tranquillity of the unique delta wetland area. Days 6-7 chobe National Park Prepare for the ultimate game viewing experience in Chobe National Park. With the largest elephant population on the continent, riverine forests and marshes teeming with nearly all of Africas major species, youll be in safari heaven. Look out for crocs on a relaxing river cruise. Days 8-9 Victoria Falls/livingstone Feel the wind on your face on an open vehicle game drive through Chobe National Park. Cross into Zambia for a sunset cruise upon one of the worlds greatest rivers, the Zambezi, which drops into a deep chasm, creating the impressive Victoria Falls. Spend time at the falls or, for something different, view them from the air on an optional scenic flight or helicopter ride.
