Day 1 Marrakesh Head to Djemaa el-Fna, the citys central square, where musicians, acrobats and dancers converge, turning the place into a living theatre at dusk. Day 2 Plateau de kik Mountain Biking Escape the clamour of Marrakesh in the village of Plateau de Kik. Take to the hills on a mountain bike, passing crop terraces, hidden villages and bizarre rock formations. Later, take a short hike to the village of Armed. Days 3-4 high atlas trek Perched on a rocky outcrop, tranquil Armed is the base for the next two days. Enjoy a warm welcome from local hosts and after a good nights rest, embark on a two day scenic hike in the majestic Atlas Mountains. Later, try rejuvenating with a visit to a local hammam or just kick back on the terrace of our mountain gite. Day 5 ait Benhaddou Explore the maze of alleyways of this World Heritage-listed kasbah, once an important stop for the caravans trading salt, gold, ivory and slaves. Then sit back by the pool to watch the red walls glow at sunset. Day 6 Dades Gorge Spend tonight in a nomad tent in the beautiful surrounds of Dades Gorge. Day 7 todra Gorge Marvel at impressive limestone cliffs, discover bizarre rock formations and get up close to nature while hiking in the stunning Todra Gorge. Days 8-9 Marrakesh Get lost in the tumult of the souqs, where competing merchants cries create a special kind of symphony.
