Days 8-9 Mekong Delta Travel along the great Mekong and watch rural everyday life in the rice bowl of Vietnam, a fertile region famous for its tropical fruits. Enjoy renowned delta hospitality at a riverside homestay and head out early the next morning to visit the floating markets of Cai Be. Days 10-11 Nha trang Head to Nha Trang for a relaxing sojourn on the shores of the South China Sea, starting with a cycle tour around town. Day 17 hanoi Stroll the picturesque streets of Hanoi, peruse the shops in the evocative Old Town and see a water puppet performance. Day 18 halong Bay A leisurely overnight boat cruises over turquoise waters and soaring limestone peaks. Days 19-20 hanoi Browse or buy locally-made ceramics en route to Hanoi, where a final feast awaits. Hoan Kiem Lake reflects modern office buildings towering over old Buddhist temples and a tangle of ancient streets.
