Day 6 homestay Experience traditional Cambodian hospitality at our rural homestay. Days 7-9 sihanoukville Lounge on a beach in laid-back Sihanoukville, charter a boat to the coastal mangrove forests of Ream National Park or take a taxi to quaint riverside Kampot. Days 10-11 Phnom Penh Get acquainted with Cambodias chaotic capital on an introductory walking tour. Theres ample time afterwards to see the infamous S-21 or the glittering Silver Pagoda. Days 12-15 ho chi Minh city Hot foot around Ho Chi Minh City to check out the highlights. Days 16-17 Nha trang Leave the fetters of urban life behind and make for the fine beaches of Nha Trang, where the only thing on the agenda is chilling out. Days 18-20 hoi an Explore the evocative streets of the Old Town before taking to the countryside on a bicycle. Days 21-23 hue Immerse yourself in Vietnamese imperial history, among the Royal tombs, temples and courtyards of Hue. Day 24 hanoi Shop for silk or watch a water puppet performance in Hanoi. Day 25 halong Bay Majestic limestone karsts, mysterious caves and succulent seafood make a cruise on Halong Bay truly memorable. Days 26-27 hanoi Search for souvenirs in the Old Quarter or chat to locals on the shores of Hoan Kiem Lake. Day 28 Vinh Have just one more bowl of authentic Vietnamese pho before leaving for Laos. Days 29-31 Vientiane Visit Vientianes vibrant morning market or wander riverside villages to witness everyday Laotian life. Days 32-33 Vang Vieng Ride a tyre tube downriver or paddle in a kayak. Days 34-36 luang Prabang Get a sense of this citys regal past in the Royal Palace Museum. Days 37-38 Mekong river Its a long but rewarding boat trip up the mighty Mekong. The journey terminates in Huay Xai, the crossroads between the Middle Kingdom and Siam for centuries. Days 39-40 chiang Mai Religion, culture and history come together in this northern gateway to Thailand.
