Days 6-8 arles and the riviera Take a walk around Arles, rich in Roman monuments and artistic history, before heading to the heart of the French Riviera, Nice. There is time to relax and explore the beaches, nightlife and glamour of the Cote dAzur. Once refreshed, take a day trip to Monaco. Or escape the glamour at the quirky Jardin Exotique, home to thousands of cacti. Days 9-10 cinque terre Take a coastal train to the Cinque Terre, Italys famous five lands. With mountains above and the sea below, the coastal path that connects the villages of the Cinque Terre is spectacular. Take the opportunity to enjoy a dip in the ocean or dine on fresh seafood by the waterfront. Days 11-13 Florence and Pisa Enjoy the fountains, statues and buildings that give Florence its reputation as an outdoor museum. Take in the best of the city including the Ponte Vecchio, the 13th century Duomo and the quintessential Italian sunset over the citys famous skyline of red roofs.
